of victory and of defeat!!! (plus lost voices)
i will not go to my english class today because i wasn't able to fulfill my scholastic task of finishing the infamous "20-premises-chart" of the more famous mr. armstrong satoquia...
(i know!!! i am not a responsible student)
well, i appreciate hans aka baby ama (o lumalaki ulo!!) for pushing me to do the chart (what is the borderline that separates "pinagsasabihan" and "pinagagalitan", tatang hans is somewhere in the pinagagalitan side... grrr... he is just so jealous because of the "jana" thing...bwahahahaha) even if my eyes were surprisingly droopy last night (tired i guess of the araneta event)...
special thanks also to my UP friend, edgardo (eehhehehe... OSYR in deviantart..) for staying up late and being a big help to me... (*wink.. GO USTe!!! eheheh)... honestly, i fell asleep first... ehhehehe...
but... it is a really big BUT (no pun intended... ehehe)
i still wasn't able to do my part... actually it is only now when my worries are starting to pour in... am i going to be in big trouble for this!!!??? waaahhh...
then... reminiscence donned my existence...
lets go back to the very day UST won over UP and all the other schools in the UAAP Cheerdance competition for that matter.
speaking of the UAAP cheerdance competition, i am ultimately happy that i was one with the crowd who rejoiced over the glorious victory of my oh-so-pontifical university.
the competition was a complete brag fest slash hair raiser for the UST people who enjoyed bathing with pride at the end of the annual event.
carol and i were supposed to got there together, we've planned this for so long and agreed about everything till her father made the impossible... POSSIBLE... our plans did not materialize..
good thing karen is on my aid when all hell breaks loose that very Sunday afternoon... (or am i just overly exaggerating!!!) i came to the big dome at around 12... i am late sa usapan namin ni khan but we are really early for the 2 start of the entire competition...
going all the way up to the what seems to be a "general admission chamber" was never a small enjoyable feat. it was an exercise of courage and power for you brave your way to a really good spot...
good thing the UST side was placed at the center of the coliseum, there's no need to look for an almost impossible good place... the fight was obviously between two the rival schools of UST and UP... but my being a thomasian aside, i do think UP sucked big time... and excuse my fiery words, please look for light cheerdancers, or better yet, please look for female cheerdanceer who can actually be thrown in the air... look at those bulging PUSONs and "nanay tiyan"s.. i even overheard someone screaming "ate, yung puson mo, nakausli!!!"... i personally pity whoever that girl might be, but i laughed at the sound of those lines... ehehehe...
i do not loathe UP in its entirety, don't get me wrong..(i am planning to transfer actually)... i am definitely not in the position to say all 'ye UP people are bitter to UST... siguro, i am insulted by the crowd from UP whom i was able to rub elbows with at the Araneta Dome... i heard one completely unattractive, girl wearing a more completely unattractive neon pink shirt who said, "give me a break, alisin nga ninyo ang mga naka-yellow... masakit sa mata!!! "
waaaahhhhh... i felt, stupefied for a minute and the next thing i know i was wiping her bloody head on the floor of the filthy pathway of Araneta Center, her eyes sticking out of her loathsome eyesockets...
i'm completely kidding...
bitterness is next to ugliness!!!! ooops, no wonder!!! panget ka miss, mukha kang panis na kulangot..(hala!!! nagalet??!!!)
ehehehe..
i am having goosebumps just by the thought of it...
i liste dthe things that i have obeserved at the very UST-ic event...
1.) why do i have this feeling that the UP female cheerdancers look are amazons... wala lang.. when they're having closeups, they register... student activist!!! wahahaha... joke...
2.) ang galing ng UST...
3.) FEU cheers are superb, classy and edgy for that matter, but the "orange" hankies being waved in the air just looks aweful... why do you have to spend an entire day to practice that... it looks tuloy so desperate of them... magaling pa naman sana yung routine ng denizens of Lerma..
4.) ang galing ng UST...
5.)Ateneo and Adamson both deserve to be on the third slot... theirs' are improved and more superb presentation than the bitter UP (mag-walk out ba yung iba???!!!) UP's was just complete and utter mess... sabi ni mama yun ha...

7.) i love the Ateneo drummers... when we won, they clapped... it is so classy of UST naman to give them like a "you did your part" drum something (whatever you call the chilling roar of those drums...) and they accepted it with a "thanks dude, you are awesome" nods... go Ateneo...

9.)NU is so baet to join the UST cheers as they pray during the awarding... (nakikisawsaw??!! medyo, pero, okay lang!! ehehehe... peace bulldogs...)

while there are those who still don't want UST to gain triumph... i have to defend my alma mater... there are requirements to follow... i agree that Feu's routines are more, "whoa, that's wicked!!!" but it appears to be hollow kung iaadapt sa literature and flash over substance kung sa filmmaking naman...
UST's performance is slick, suave, smooth and MALINIS... not kalat.. and so, magnificently awesome and jaw dropping... (whoaah!! taga UST ba ako?? di halata!!! ehehehe)

--kelangan may slow dance na intervention
at marami pang iba... na sana ay napansin din ninyo...
marame kasing bumagsak sa UP at sa FEU... para sa mga nanuod sa ARaneta, they might have seen that and USt is zero-falwed... (may ganitong word ba...)
basta, baket ba ako nagki-critique...
i just want to say... waaaahhh... malat ako... masyado akonmg naging TOmasino nung Linggo... so what... if you're there, you'll be one hell of a proud thomasian.. wahahaha..
basta, poor Carol... eheheh.. cool UST..
