the jinx that was me
(naka-save tong entry na to as draft simula pa nung friday ata last week...)
what's up with the whole of this week?? i don't know why all "those" mishaps just happen in what seemed like a really loooonggg strenous torture- week...
of course, it start with my annoyingly stubborn computer blocking me to download videos of american idol season 5 performances because of the "javascript" error!!! arrrghhh!! (hobby na yata ng computer na ito ang mag-malfunction!!!)
then, the week was prologued by the mind-bugging paper in Filipino... with all those fuss and tedious researching, you just have to come up with a paper of a page or two... i know
then all in the name of comfort, joana and i had to walk the walk!!! imagine two "chubby" people (that hurts!!!) voyaging the whole of the UST-dom in search of greener pastures... errrr... wrong.. more comfortable air-conditioned-ayala-buses...
and then, the lrt incident... putragis na lrt na yan...
again, my be-jinxed partner, joana, invited me to join her and tito dorino to go home thru the lrt station at the tayuman, mmm... station (redundancy bothers me a lot these days...) tito dorino, with his mighty-enormous-
weapon-ish umbrella, made us troop to the train station and the rest is history... ehehehe.. i really am not into telling
"ultraelectromagnetic to the nth power" humiliating "
casualties"... especially with my really enormous face plastered here in my template...
it is just one of those long tales of stupidity i happen to be fond of having... (
ano daw??) basta, me and tito dorino seated at the wrong side of the train, and i got stucked at the closing lrt door...
sabi ko na nga ba isa akong mapalad na tao... but then after all those rough occurences, you have to look at the really bright side of it all...

from handball to gary granada
it's a good thing that after my oh-so-strenous PE class, mr. satoquia did not stay long in the classroom and gave us liberty to spend the remaining minutes in any way we want, only to find out that he just dismissed us early because he will play a very important part in the "gary granada forum"... (he belted the national anthem, i tell you...)
rewind to my PE Class
is my PE class fun or what!!!! (white chicks??!!!)... well, fun minus the endless running, sweat-dripping, and gruesome ball-grabbing... wehehe...
i love my team mates... especially my male team mates because they made the dark blue team win!!! that's their 99.99% efforts plus my point one (.1) athletic attempt.. (*big annoying grin visible*)... my female classmates are also "determined" to goal.. to think that the rest of the feminine populace in that handball course are amplifiers transformed into humans... (*wink)
God is widely awake then that he allowed me to leave the class at 10:32... (may allowance nang 2 minutes yun sa given grace ni ma'am sa akin ha!!)
god, i can never really see myself running in that court for 2 and a half hours.. i think i'm soooooooooooaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkiiiinnnngggg wet by that time...
on my hurried walk-slash-"semi" jog to my next class, i saw one of my 2lit classmates, miguel looming my direction, galing ata siyang library e... promise!!, i planned to greet him but mukhang hindi naman niya ako babatiin tsaka hindi naman niya ata ako nakita kaya hindi ko na lang siya binati...(*peace!! wag kang magalit ha..), a syndrome that i had way back in grade 2 (its a seriously long story)
its a routine.. every friday, i'd change into my AB-na-may-pagka-securityguard-sa-greenbelt uniform at burger king. (like i have a choice!!)
then, on to my normal lit student life... cramming for an unaccomplished assignment and all that not-blog-material stuffs...
fast forward to the forum...
i overheard cheska whispering to K-ann that the man who led the prayer sounded like me.. grrr... Pisti ka!! (hehehe)... akala mo hindi ko narinig ha!!! (tunog ipis na naapakan ba yung boses ko???)
gary granada is such a character...
may "prof. jamilla-and his-corny kung corny-antics" tendencies siya... only better... sooooo muuuccchhhh beeeettttterrrrrr!!!!
i think, yung gustong palabasin sa topic ni sir atalla is not discussed (if not hindi naman talaga diniscuss)... i don't know, i might be too preoccupied trying to snatch a minute or two nap...
the talk is nothing special... his songs are praise-worthy though... filled with satire.. and dry wit that's so... amazingly great..
karen is the scene-stealer... (uuuuuyyyy!!!).. to be given that task is no small feat... i commend her for her CA-ic confidence... artista ka na talaga...
i don't know, i like sukob eh (bleh!!)...
hmmmm... what more can i say... waaaahhh... i'm lost... wait... is that rihanna on trl?? (*hums rihanna's promiscous song*)

reel deal... the series...
in my previous posts sa iba kong blogs na non-existent na ngayon (sa awa ng diyos...wahaha)
most of them are memoirs of the several movie events of my clique.. wehehehe...
so here are some of my favorite posts... that has something to do with films...
the first of this series is the da vinci code outing of me and my friends way before the starting of classes...
i think i have posted it over my deviantart journal.. you might want to read...
whew... and then the movie's overJournal Entry: Fri May 19, 2006, 12:56 PMlike i've been doodling in my previous journals about my anticipation about the movie the da vinci code, i am happy that my anxiety was over... well, the mixture of controversy that the film is enjoying and the "big thumbs down" from the movie critics in its first screening were really effective "provocations" to actually step out of your house and see the highly anticipated film... ron howard is one lucky guy, i tell you for having the opportunity to direct this...
God, it was a long grueling process before we were able to snatch our "willy wonka-ish golden movie tickets" and have our second row seats?? can you imagine the aftermath?? yes!! stiff necks!!! ehehehe...
first we took our chances in eastwood cinemas in libis(?)but the "sold out" signage was a big disappointing slap in our faces.. after making various fone calls to possible moviehouse, we chanced upon the 11:55 showing in the powerplant mall theaters.. it was one hell of adventure i tell you... but it was fruitful to take hold of those movei passes after being interrogated by the lady who soon allowed us to see the film although we knew from the look in her face that she was really aware that we were minors... (we have two 18ners though so we are not fully disrespecting tita laguardia's rating)
broke as we all are because of the allowance-less summer vacation(our mapua friends served as sponsors for some though.. *wink), we ate at kfc... we saw the male celebrity jc de vera who was eating with a bunch of skanks... (wooahh!! that's a statement!!)..
at 10: 30, we finished our fast dinner and strolled around the mall.. it was hard to walk there barely knowing what to do with the remaining ennui hours of waiting... FullyBooked was an acre for a while, grabbing a copy and doing my last minute reading!!! wehehehe...
the long wait is over and we lined up in what seemed like a "deathrow" for us... looking around, you'll know, we were really the MINORS there except for two of our buddies... we waited and waited and waited and darn those guards, they made those unimaginable butterflies fly in our tummies... but it was dismaying that there wasn't any commotion, i was hoping that they'd ask as questions and make us cry!!! hehehe...
with jade lopez and jay aquitania in our backs i hoped that we'd make our own scene... well, my hopes faded automatically as we were ushered through the movie house!!!
comfortable?? not entirely!! my neck hurt so bad!!! and the images that flashes through the silver screen was never easy to take for my eyes!!! hehehe..
the film started with an impressive film score haunting the audience and the credits was just something that would make you expect for big things...
all in all, the film was, to quote simon, "OK" but really not magical... the first 33 chapters of the book that i have read, i was able to recognize because for me, it was translated as it is, without any reinvention coming from the film director... the screenplay was a dud too, directly saying exposition without the art of making it seem really natural... hmmm, there were pleasant aspects though. some shots are great, film score all throughout was splendid except for some part when it feels cheesy...
in the end, SILAS haunted me with those piercing eyes and the fast pacing of the story is appealing to me...
whew... so much to say so little time!!! i want to sleep now!!!

the assasination of david hasselhoff (?? check the spelling!!)
i couldn't remember the exact date...
it was just that i was super-perplexed (if not absolutely PERPLEXED with all letters capitalized)when i heard a dj tell a narrative about an occurence in the world premiere of the adam sandler starrer "click" (i want to watch this pala!!)...
i almost jumped out of my "comfortable(bleh!!)" seat inside the fx... in absolute horror upon hearing the horrible news... waaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
remember david hasselhoff??? i know!!! who is david hasselhoff for god's sake...
okay... for a little backgrounder... he is one of the leads in the 1990's "skin" show, baywatch...
any idea???
yeah i understand how hard it is to remember yet another non-existing entity...
if you happen to remember the carpeted (hairy for the dumbass!!) man running around the beach with his "lifeguard-ish" apparel...
ah basta... yun lang ang na-research ko sa kanya...
anyway... let me tell you the horrible story... (note: keep your plastic bags at hand... in case of "unavoidable" puke action!!! )

like what i have mentioned earlier... in the world premiere of CLICK, while the old fart, kate beckinsale and adam sandler were gracing the red carpet... Mr. Hasselhoff went near the lovely, the adorable, the gracious, the deity... kate beckinsale and whispered something like...
"i could give you everything i have if you let me be your..." ayoko nang ituloy baka kalahti ng populasyon ng mundo sumuka, may shortage pa naman tayo sa tubig ngayon!!! hmp...
and then he explained to her further that he wants to have someone as a partner who is more famous than him... (anger rising!!!)
manong, 90% of america (if not the entire universe) is more famous than you... you might as well want to ask the old beggar sa ESPANA overpass to be yours... walang aangal!!
get in line dude... and shave your....................................................... (oops!!! nasira ko yata yung keyboard sa central library... )
basta... walang kuwentang post man sa iba, walang kwenta pa rin!!! wahahaha...

i personally like this more than my first blog... maybe because i never really had the chance to edit my first template and it looked so... uhmmm... BLACK!!!

i am never a "black-loving -slash- goth-fanatic" or should i just say... i like this because there's a huge.. no... "ENORMOUS" photo of myself right there (<<==) and not just that... its "MY oH so enormous self" times three...
can you ask for more???

by the way, i am going to post my previous entries about the most "essential" interest in my scholastic and creative existence... "FILM"... (yebah!!)
